Set up initially by Padraig Connell B.Eng MIEI in 2003 as PC Draughting and design, Padraig’s drive and ambition has overseen the steady rise of the practice from an initial planning and design consultancy to a multi discipline consultancy that exists today. The steady rise of the Practice prompted Padraig to rename the practice to Padraig Connell Consulting Engineers, Planning-Architectural and Engineering consultancy in 2006.
Padraig Connell Consulting Engineers specialise in bespoke house design, renovations and extensions. We understand the stress and difficulties that clients may have in achieving their dream home, therefore we offer the complete package from initial concept/design stage through planning and on to on-site inspection of works for mortgage purposes/stage payments and Certification in Compliance with Planning and Building Regulations. This results in the client dealing directly with one consultancy practice from start to finish.
Many clients approach us with little or no experience on how to design their dream home around their everyday living needs. From initial discussions we can produce sketch designs and draft budget estimates for the project. We would also advise our clients to part take in a pre-planning meeting, these meetings are offered by all county councils/Town Councils to address any issues the clients may have with their
site selection or house design prior to submitting a planning application. Once a favorable decision is received from the council for the project
Padraig Connell Consulting Engineer, can source the building contractor, issue the project for tender and inspect the works on site ensuring that the client’s needs are catered for at every stage. Padraig Connell Consulting Engineers, approach each project with the up most professionalism and with the client’s needs at the forefront of our work.
